Welcome to Gourmet Laurier

When you first come into our shop, you get the feeling that this Queen mother of Montreal’s fine foods and gourmet shops has been around forever! In fact, there is some truth to it. Montreal’s discerning customers have been able to enjoy the quality of the Gérard Van Houtte coffee since 1950. Over the years, this full bodied coffee has been more and more difficult to find in Montreal. When you step in and trample onto the old ceramic floor, you will discover a host of imported treasures - soaps, spices, teas, mustards, chocolates, candies, fruit jams, a variety of oils and vinegars – while freshly cut delicatessens and fine cheeses are making eyes at you. Time may go by, but the quality of our products is unchanging. This is one of the rare locations where Puget oils, imported lentils from Le Puy and Lustucru pasta are sold under the same roof and share the aisles with a vast selection of primary foods from bountiful France.
